As of May 2015, Microsoft Lumia 430 is the most affordable Microsoft smartphone of all time. But it doesn’t mean that the features and performance is very low. With this price, Microsoft is still offering 1 GB RAM which is incredible. It will allow you to store more apps and do much better multitasking. RAM is a very important feature for any smartphone. It is offering 3.5G network for even faster browsing. The battery is arguably the best thing in this device. Up to 18 days of stand-by time, 17.5 hours talk-time and 8.9 hours WiFi browsing is quite rare in any smartphone of today. The battery is actually not that powerful, just 1500 mAh. But the secret is in the size of the display (only 4.0″) and lower resolution. Large display and high resolution is what drains most of the battery. Therefore, having this compact phone will give you the best pro, long battery life!
However, there are some cons of the device too. The camera quality is not that good. 2 MP primary + 0.3 MP (VGA) front camera will let you take pictures, selfies and make video calls but they will not be looking very good. It is simply not the device if you want to buy smartphone for good mobile photography experience. It doesn’t support HD video and it will let you play average good quality games but it will hang in case of high size or Graphics, even it may not support many of them at all. But usual games like temple run, flappy bird, angry birds etc. will work quite well. It has dual SIM facility and the OS can be upgraded to Windows 10.
