Samsung has thought of something more innovative and attractive to catch the low and low-mid range users. Samsung Galaxy M10 is being called the “new budget king” and it has all the qualities to be called like that. Let us find out more in this short review.

Samsung Galaxy M10 is coming with a so-called Infinity V display by Samsung. It is Samsung’s way of naming a full-view teardrop notch display. Whatever they call it, the design is stunning especially if you consider the price. The minimal notch will let you make the best out of the 6.22-inch big display which is another great thing. HD+ PLS TFT display quality is quite crisp and colorful. However, you may say that a super AMOLED display would have been better. But the PLS TFT technology looks pretty reasonable here. Moreover, the design and display are already respectable and generous for the cost. Although there is no display protection and the body is made of plastic which are some of the drawbacks, but still normal in this budget range.

If you want to buy a phone to make calls, use social media, internet browsing, capture photos, watch videos and use some light to medium sized apps, 2 GB version will work pretty smooth. Samsung’s 14 nm Exynos 7870 Octa chipset is strong and is a fine competitor of Snapdragon 450. It is indeed pretty admirable that Samsung has used such an efficient chipset. If high-graphics experience in normal settings is important to you and you can spend a bit more cash, the 3GB RAM version would be a great fit. We haven’t seen almost any lag while using graphics-intensive apps in normal settings which indicates very clean, superior software optimization and hardware quality of this phone.

Samsung has gained a strong position again with its camera quality. Both front and back cameras can shoot excellent quality photos. The colors, focus, 120° wide-angle view option, bokeh etc. are really nice and well worth the price. We were especially impressed with the bright, clear, natural looking authentic daylight shots. It is indeed one of the top daylight cameras for the price as of February 2019. However, low-light shots were pretty average. Both cameras are capable of recording Full HD video as well.

There is face unlock option but no fingerprint in Galaxy M10. There is a 3400 mAh decent backup battery with no fast charging. It will let you go through a day with one single charge and a full charge may take you around two hours and fifteen minutes. Overall, Samsung Galaxy M10 is a charismatic combination of display, camera and performance for the lower budget pupils. The best thing is that, despite all these specs and the brand value of Samsung, the pricing finally looks very attractive as well. Samsung definitely gets a big appreciation from us for that and yes, it is in our list of recommendation.
